Who says you can't go home again?

Well, after 17 years on the road of life and living away from the town of my birth and raising, Cincinnati, Ohio, I am flying there today (on business) for a four day stand. Big whoop, you might say, four days, big deal.

But it is. When I left town, I figured I'd be back often, but it didn't work out that way. I am really looking forward to Skyline Chili, and the joys of "home".

Be back this Sunday.

Cheers,

Ron

New Front Page: Frequency Control Products

In a long continuing effort to find a front page for this eclectic website, I have, temporarily I suppose, put up a new page about the technology and business in which I have toiled for 29 years worth of day jobs, quartz based frequency control. It includes a resume and email link for myself, along with a few good links to information about the technology.

Most likely, something new will come along shortly to tie this all together.

"Dylan's Vision of Sin" by Christopher Ricks

I just bought this book. Already, I think that it is a masterpiece of subtle wealth. The book is a by a distinguished academic critic of poetry who has long followed Dylan's music and who now pulls rabbits out of literary hats. I will review this book when I am ready. For now, I highly recommend it as a once in a lifetime type of treat.

I can't close this post without putting in a plug for my own Dylan-inspired poetry at Poems and Poetry

What's New

1. I am working, behind the scenes, on improvements in my personal Python programs, Decision Analysis and AskMerlin.

2. I feel a lot of new poetry coming on...but it ain't ready yet.

3. Web spider outputs have been updated yet again, but problems in auto-update persist (sigh).

Writer's Block

I feel a flood of poetic outpourings damned up behind a mind blockage of immense proportions. Perhaps this is why new posts to this Blog have been so sparse recently.
